Overview

2D Synthetic Generation tools can help generate different image viewpoints, object poses, backgrounds, and lighting conditions to create additional data to train custom models. Generating synthetic data, allows you to specify exactly the types of images you want to create and can be helpful for enhancing your dataset with images that are less common or hard to find.

System Features

  • Object Detection Model

  • Datasets

  • Image Generation

  • Object Count

  • Background Themes

  • Rotation and Scaling

  • Bounding Box Free Transformation

  • Enterprise Account

Guide to using 2D Synthetic Data

  1. Navigate to the Chooch dashboard

  2. On the left-hand side panel select Datasets > My Object Datasets Screen_Shot_2021-07-06_at_2.50.03_PM.png

  3. Select your pre-existing Object dataset, if you do not have a dataset please see here to learn how to create one. Please note: you must have annotated images in your dataset, non-annotated images cannot be generated

  4. Select Synthetic Data if the tool is not available please contact support@chooch.ai to upgrade to Enterprise

  5. Select Synthetic Data 2D > Select the options needed for your dataset > Select Generate to begin the job

  6. Select View Jobs to check the status  Screen_Shot_2021-07-07_at_9.49.03_AM.png

  7. View the Job Type and StatusScreen_Shot_2021-07-07_at_9.47.53_AM.png

  8. Once the Job is completed Refresh the page and review the DatasetScreen_Shot_2021-07-07_at_1.59.49_PM.png
