Overview
2D Synthetic Generation tools can help generate different image viewpoints, object poses, backgrounds, and lighting conditions to create additional data to train custom models. Generating synthetic data, allows you to specify exactly the types of images you want to create and can be helpful for enhancing your dataset with images that are less common or hard to find.

Guide to using 2D Synthetic Data
Navigate to the Chooch dashboard
On the left-hand side panel select Datasets > My Object Datasets
Select your pre-existing Object dataset, if you do not have a dataset please see here to learn how to create one. Please note: you must have annotated images in your dataset, non-annotated images cannot be generated

Select Synthetic Data if the tool is not available please contact support@chooch.ai to upgrade to Enterprise
Select Synthetic Data 2D > Select the options needed for your dataset > Select Generate to begin the job
Select View Jobs to check the status
View the Job Type and Status
Once the Job is completed Refresh the page and review the Dataset

For any questions please reach out to support@chooch.ai or learn more here Synthetic Data Webinar: To build accurate computer vision models, you need data—and lots of it. Now, you can generate images with synthetic data and augmented data on the Chooch AI platform, and then use these synthetic images to train and deploy computer vision models.
